How much protein should I consume each day?
Your daily protein intake (from food and supplements) should generally fall between 1.2 g and 1.7 g per kilogram of body weight.
To work this out:
1. Convert your weight from pounds to kilograms by dividing by 2.2
2. Multiply your weight in kg by 1.2, 1.4, or 1.7
- 1.2 g/kg → rest days or low-intensity training
- 1.4 g/kg → moderate training periods
- 1.7 g/kg → peak training or racing periods
Example:
- 180 lb = 81.8 kg
- 81.8 × 1.2 = 98 g protein/day
- 81.8 × 1.4 = 114.5 g protein/day
- 81.8 × 1.7 = 139 g protein/day
Why was Vegan Protein replaced with Plant Protein?
During ongoing research, we discovered the benefits of watermelon seed protein. It mixes well and has a neutral taste, making it a great addition.
To include it, we slightly reduced some of the other protein sources in the formula. After the update, we felt the name Plant Protein better reflects the product — as it’s suitable for everyone, not just those following a vegan diet.

Can I use Plant Protein at bedtime instead of whey to support HGH levels?
You can, but there are two key points:
1. Add 6 g of glutamine
Plant Protein doesn’t contain glutamine, while whey does. Glutamine is linked to increased human growth hormone (HGH) levels.
2. Keep carbohydrates low
Carbs can reduce HGH release.
- Whey protein: 0–1.5 g carbs per scoop
- Plant Protein: ~5 g carbs per scoop
That difference may affect HGH levels, especially at night.
Does Plant Protein contain soy?
No — it is completely soy-free.
Can I mix it with warm or hot water?
Yes. You can mix it with any water temperature without affecting its quality or benefits.
Can I use Plant Protein for baking?
Yes. All protein sources in the formula are suitable for baking.
