What’s Inside
Creapure® Creatine Monohydrate (5g per serving)
We use Creapure®, a patented, highly researched creatine monohydrate produced by Alzchem Trostberg GmbH in Germany.
WHY CREAPURE®?
- Extremely high purity (often cited as a “gold standard” in research)
- Trusted manufacturing and quality controls
- Widely studied for safety and effectiveness
Why “Micronized” Matters
Micronized creatine has smaller particles, which typically means:
- Mixes more easily
- Smoother texture
- Often gentler on the stomach for people who struggle with regular creatine
HOW TO USE:
- Mix 1 scoop (5g) in 250–350ml water (8–12oz)
- Take once daily
- Timing is flexible: morning, pre-training, post-training—whatever you’ll stick to
Do I need a loading phase?
Not required.
Some people choose to load (e.g., 4 x 5g daily for 5–7 days) to saturate faster, but 5g daily works well too—just takes longer to fully top up stores.

FAQs:
What is Creapure® creatine?
Creapure® is pure creatine monohydrate made in Germany by Alzchem Trostberg GmbH.
What makes Creapure® different from other creatine?
It’s one of the most studied forms of creatine and is known for strict quality control and very high purity.
What is the pH of the Creapure® creatine monohydrate in Creatine Boost, and how does it compare with other forms of creatine?
The Creapure® creatine monohydrate used in Creatine Boost has a neutral pH of 7.0, which makes it very gentle on the stomach.
Other forms of creatine are much more acidic. For example, creatine pyruvate has an estimated pH of 2.6, creatine HCL has an estimated pH of 2.9, and creatine citrate has an estimated pH of 3.2. While this higher acidity may help improve solubility, it may also increase the chance of stomach discomfort when taken in larger amounts.
Creapure® is also micronised, meaning it has a much smaller particle size. This helps it dissolve very easily in water, which may further reduce the risk of stomach discomfort and support absorption.
There is also a patented form of creatine that contains sodium bicarbonate, with an estimated pH of 12.0 to 14.0, making it extremely alkaline. Although it is claimed to remain fully stable for efficient use by the body, a pH this high falls within the corrosive range and may also lead to stomach discomfort.
In short: Creapure® has a neutral pH, is easy to dissolve, and is designed to be gentle on the stomach compared with more acidic or highly alkaline forms of creatine.
Is Creatine Boost vegan-friendly?
Yes. Creapure® is made by chemical synthesis and contains no animal-derived ingredients.
Is it kosher?
Yes—Creapure® is Kosher certified.
Can creatine help the brain?
Research suggests creatine may support brain energy, cognition, and resilience, especially in certain situations (like aging or lack of sleep). Evidence is promising, and studies are ongoing.
Does creatine have antioxidant properties?
Research suggests creatine may support the body’s antioxidant systems and help protect cells under oxidative stress.
Does creatine damage kidneys?
In healthy individuals, research reviews commonly report no adverse kidney effects when used at recommended dosages. If you have kidney disease or concerns, check with a healthcare professional before use.
Does creatine raise creatinine levels, and is that harmful?
Creatine can slightly raise creatinine levels in the blood. However, in healthy people with normal kidney function, this does not mean it is harming the kidneys or liver.
Several studies support this:
A 2020 study found that taking up to 5 g of creatine per day for 35 days did not affect kidney function.
Another 2020 study gave participants 0.3 g of creatine per kg of body weight per day for 7 days. For someone weighing 160 lb (around 73 kg), that is almost 22 g per day. Researchers tested blood and urine before supplementation and again 30 days later. The results showed no harmful effects on kidney function, liver function, blood markers, urine markers, or other health measures. As expected, body weight and performance increased.
A 4-year study from 2001, one of the longest studies available, also concluded that creatine supplementation caused no negative side effects.
The International Society of Sports Nutrition (ISSN) also states that no study in healthy individuals has shown that creatine harms the kidneys or liver.
In short: creatine may increase blood creatinine slightly, but in healthy people this is not the same as kidney damage.
Can I mix it with Recoverite?
Yes—adding 1 serving (5g) to Recoverite (or Vegan Recoverite) is a simple way to support recovery.
What is sarcopenia?
Sarcopenia is age-related loss of muscle mass and function. Research suggests creatine, especially combined with resistance training, may help support muscle strength and performance as we age.
Can Hammer Creatine Boost really help the brain?
Yes. Research is still developing, but current evidence suggests that creatine may support brain health and function.
A review of a number of brain-focused studies found that creatine supplementation can increase creatine levels in the brain. This may help explain some of the positive effects seen in areas such as cognition, memory, and mental performance.
Research has shown that creatine supplementation may:
- support cognition and memory, particularly in older adults
- help reduce some of the effects of sleep deprivation
- show promise in helping with some symptoms of traumatic brain injury (TBI), including concussion
- support certain aspects of health in people with muscular dystrophy
There are also encouraging findings around creatine and symptoms of depression and anxiety, although more research is needed before firm conclusions can be made.
In short: while research is ongoing, current evidence suggests that creatine may offer meaningful support for brain health and function.
