A Recovery Drink Built for Endurance Athletes
Recoverite isn't simply another protein shake.
Long-duration running, cycling and triathlon place significant demands on carbohydrate stores as well as muscle tissue.
That's why Recoverite combines carbohydrates, whey protein isolate, glutamine and electrolytes in one post-workout recovery drink.
Recoverite for Runners
After long runs and demanding training sessions, Recoverite provides carbohydrate and protein together in a convenient recovery shake.
Recoverite for Cyclists
Long rides can place substantial demands on carbohydrate stores. Recoverite provides 30g carbohydrate and 10g protein per serving as part of your post-ride nutrition.
Recoverite for Triathletes
Multiple disciplines and frequent training sessions can make recovery nutrition particularly important. Recoverite provides carbohydrate, protein and electrolytes from one drink.
Recoverite for Ultra-Endurance Athletes
Recoverite can be particularly convenient after long-duration training, racing and multi-day endurance events when you want carbohydrate and protein without preparing a full meal immediately after finishing.
Recoverite vs a Regular Protein Shake
A conventional protein shake and an endurance recovery drink aren't necessarily designed to do the same job.

General protein supplementation |
The important difference is purpose.
If your main objective is simply increasing daily protein intake, a protein powder may be appropriate.
If you've completed a demanding endurance session and want carbohydrate and protein together, Recoverite is designed specifically for that situation.
When Should You Take a Recovery Drink?
Recoverite is designed to be consumed after exercise.
Mix a serving as soon as practical after finishing your training or event.
If you aren't going to eat a normal meal for some time afterwards, your overall post-exercise nutrition should also account for your remaining carbohydrate, protein, fluid and energy requirements.
For multi-day events or training camps, Recoverite can be used after each demanding session as part of your recovery nutrition strategy.
How to Use Recoverite
Mix 2 scoops with 120–240ml of water.
Shake thoroughly and consume after exercise.
For best results, prepare it fresh rather than mixing it hours in advance.
Mixing Tip
To minimise clumping:
1. Fill approximately one-third of your bottle with water.
2. Add Recoverite.
3. Shake thoroughly.
4. Add additional water.
5. Shake again until completely mixed.
What's Inside Recoverite 2.0?
Tapioca Maltodextrin
Recoverite 2.0 uses non-GMO tapioca maltodextrin as its primary carbohydrate source.
Carbohydrate contributes to replenishing glycogen stores following exercise, making it particularly relevant to endurance athletes after demanding training and racing.
Grass-Fed Whey Protein Isolate
Recoverite provides 10g of grass-fed whey protein isolate per serving.
Protein contributes to the growth and maintenance of muscle mass.
Whey isolate also contains a broad spectrum of amino acids and contains substantially less lactose than whey concentrate.
L-Glutamine
Each serving provides 3,000mg of added L-glutamine, an amino acid naturally present in the human body and in protein-containing foods.
Electrolytes
Recoverite contains:
- Sodium
- Chloride
- Calcium
- Magnesium
- Potassium
These provide an electrolyte component alongside the carbohydrate and protein in the formula.
Chromium Chelate, L-Carnosine, Manganese & Glycine
Recoverite also contains a range of additional ingredients as part of its endurance-recovery formula.
Why Carbohydrates Matter After Endurance Exercise
Protein gets a great deal of attention after exercise, but endurance athletes also use significant amounts of stored carbohydrate during prolonged or demanding sessions.
This is one reason Recoverite isn't formulated like a bodybuilding-style high-protein, low-carbohydrate shake.
Its 3:1 carbohydrate-to-protein ratio provides both macronutrients together.
For athletes training again relatively soon, restoring carbohydrate availability becomes particularly important.
