WHY HAMMER GEL STANDS OUT
Many energy gels rely on excess sugars such as glucose, sucrose, and fructose with artificial ingredients.
Hammer Gel uses long-chain carbohydrates to provide fast sustained energy in a clean, concentrated formula, while reducing the risk of energy spikes, crashes, and digestive discomfort.

FAQS
I’ve noticed on some of my containers of hammer gel that the colour can be clear, while sometimes it is a bit cloudy. is this normal and is it acceptable for consumption?
Yes, as Hammer Gel is a natural product, the color may change from batch to batch, with some batches being somewhat cloudy and others being clearer. These variations in color are completely normal and all are acceptable for consumption.
Why does the viscosity of Hammer Gel sometimes change?
As Hammer Gel is a natural product, on occasion there may be slight differences in viscosity (texture) from batch to batch. Rest assured that before we sell any container of Hammer Gel, we perform stringent quality control on all batches to ensure that the product flows smoothly (i.e., is not too thick). The slight variation of viscosity that may occur from batch to batch is normal, and all viscosities of Hammer Gel are acceptable for consumption.
How long does Hammer Gel last?
We perform stringent stability testing to determine how long a product’s potency is maintained. For Hammer Gel, stability tests show that it retains its potency for five (5) years, so it has a “best by” date of five (5) years from the manufacture (MFG) date.
Should i use Hammer Gel or Heed?
Either, it's your preference!
Both products are ideal for use during exercise of any intensity lasting up to 2-3 hours.

Either product can be used as a partial source of calories during ultra distance events to provide variety and flavor to your primary fuel sources, Perpetuem and/or Sustained Energy.
Do any of the Hammer Nutrition products contain brown rice syrup?
We do not use brown rice syrup in any of our products, so you have nothing to worry about with regards to Hammer Nutrition products.
Why do some of the flavours of Hammer Gel have different nutrient amounts listed on the labels?
Q: Why do some of the flavours of Hammer Gel have different nutrient amounts listed on the labels of the single serving pouch and the 26-serving jug?
A: Using the Chocolate flavor as an example, the formula for the 26-serving jug contains both potassium sorbate--an FDA-approved preservative, and potassium carbonate, which helps balance the pH--while the single serving pouch contains only potassium carbonate. The jug has more potassium content in it, which is why its amounts are listed. The calcium content is the same for both pouches and jugs but since it’s under 1% of the Daily Value (DV) it does not need to be declared on the labels. That said, since there is more room on the 26-serving label, this information was elected to be included.
INGREDIENT BREAKDOWN
Maltodextrin – A high glycaemic index (GI) complex carbohydrate, ideal for providing fast-acting, sustained energy during exercise and for replenishing the body’s glycogen stores afterwards.
Energy Smart® (Rice Syrup, Grape Juice Concentrate) – This all-natural, low-sugar sweetener plays an important role in Hammer Gel’s great taste while contributing only minimally to the overall carbohydrate content. Energy Smart® is certified non-GMO, gluten-free, and allergen-free.
Citric Acid – Used in minimal amounts to meet FDA requirements for acidity levels. Hammer Gel contains less citric acid than comparable products.
Salt – Added in minimal amounts for preservation, flavour, and digestive support. It is not a source of electrolytes (see the Endurolytes® product line).
L-Leucine, L-Isoleucine, L-Valine – These branched-chain amino acids (BCAAs) help protect against muscle tissue breakdown and may also help reduce fatigue.
L-Alanine – This amino acid helps meet energy demands, particularly when the body’s carbohydrate stores are running low.
Potassium Chloride – A rich source of potassium. Also supplies additional chloride.
Potassium Carbonate – Used in small amounts to regulate the acid-alkaline balance in Hammer Gel flavours that are slightly more acidic than alkaline, such as Espresso and Chocolate.
Cultured Dextrose (used in pouches and some jugs) – An FDA-approved, all-natural preservative.
Potassium Sorbate (used in some jugs) – An FDA-approved preservative
