How much protein should i consume each day?
Your daily protein intake from food and protein supplements should be between 1.2g/kg, 1.4g/kg, and 1.7g/kg per day.
To work out your weight in kilograms (kg), divide your weight in pounds by 2.2. Then multiply that number by 1.2, 1.4, or 1.7. The result is the number of grams of protein you should aim to consume each day.
Use:
- 1.2g/kg on rest days or easy, low-intensity training days
- 1.4g/kg during periods when your training volume and intensity increase
- 1.7g/kg during peak-volume training and racing season
Example:
- A 180 lb person = 81.82 kg
- 81.82 x 1.2 = 98g of protein per day
- 81.82 x 1.4 = 114.5g of protein per day

Is soy protein bad for your health?
Using GMO-free vegetable protein Soy Protein Isolate (Hammer Soy) as part of a rotation with other lean protein sources is a healthy anabolic food source during periods of endurance exercise training.
IMPORTANT NOTES:
Hammer Soy is designed for meal supplementation — it’s too concentrated to use during exercise.
For long sessions, soy can be a good choice because it produces very little ammonia compared with some glutamine-fortified whey proteins (ammonia is linked with fatigue). For during-exercise needs, Perpetuem and Sustained Energy already include the right amount of soy protein for prolonged efforts.

How long will my delivery take and how much does it cost?
Orders placed before 2:00 PM (UK time) are dispatched the same working day. Standard delivery to mainland Great Britain takes 2–5 days at a flat rate of £3.50, or free on orders over £10.
Large tubs are automatically upgraded to DPD next-day delivery. Shipping to Northern Ireland, the Channel Islands, and the Scottish Highlands costs £4.50, or free on orders over £80.
Can I change or cancel my order after placing it?
Because we process and dispatch orders quickly, we are usually unable to modify products, delivery methods, or addresses after submission.
To cancel an order, you must contact us on the same calendar day it was placed. If dispatch has already occurred, you can return the unused items within 14 days at your own shipping expense.
What is your returns policy if I change my mind?
You have 14 days from the day after delivery to cancel your order. Items must be unused, in their original packaging, and in resaleable condition. Important Step:
You must email info@hammernutrition.co.uk first to obtain a Returns Authorisation Number and a free Royal Mail returns sticker; unauthorised returns cannot be processed.
Note that opened, sealed supplements cannot be returned for hygiene reasons.
What should I do if my order is damaged, faulty, or incorrect?
Check your parcel immediately upon arrival. If there is an issue, notify us within 48 hours of delivery at info@hammernutrition.co.uk.
Please include your order number, a description of the issue, and photos of the damaged items and packaging. We will provide a free replacement or full refund.
How long do refunds take to process?
Once your return is received, inspected, and approved, we process refunds back to your original payment method (card, PayPal, or bank transfer).
This typically takes place within 7 working days, and always within a maximum window of 30 days.
